khamisani sons are the pioneers of travel agency in karachi , pakistan . having laid the foundation i the year of 1956. the late abdul quadir khamisani and his brother abdul jabbar khamisani worked their way up eventually earning the distinction of becoming the only agents to simultaneously receive i.a.t.a approval for both travel and cargo operations in 1966. in 1970 abdul quadir khamisani became a founding member of t.a.a.p. (travel agents association of pakistan) which later developed into a regulatory body for the travel industry in pakistan. he was also involved with the formation of a similar body for cargo agents by the name of c.a.a.p (cargo agents association of pakistan). currently chief executive officer, mr. javed khamisani began his career in the travel and aviation industry in 1979. during the 27 years that he has been in the trade he has achieved a prominent stature, building a name for himself and the khamisani group. besides his involvement in the travel trade, mr. javed khamisani is also an accomplished photographer who has successfully used his talents in the promotion of tourism in pakistan. throughout his entire career, mr. javed khamisani has been in the forefront of keeping the khamisani group updated with the changing trends in technology. in 1996, khamisani sons became the first travel agency of pakistan to be connected with the information super highway. this accomplishment was made possible through the personal efforts of mr. javed khamisani who was also the system operator of 786bbs, pakistan’s first and largest computerized bulletin board service providing internet email access to over 200 individuals and organizations from 1991 – 1995 when no internet access was available in pakistan. khamisani sons also has the distinction of being the first pakistani travel agency & tour operators to have its own website on the world wide web.
